1. Any person intending to fly an aircraft at Club Brossair must possess, and in good standing, his card of the MAAC and Brossair membership or proof of membership at another club and keep them in sight. During the flight, hang membership card on the board even if you run in 2.4 GHz. For guests, the MAAC card needs also to be attached to the board
2. If several members have the same frequency, each should be used in rotation and the period of use is a complete flight, or a maximum of 20 minutes.
3. All members that use the frequency of 72 MHz must place their transmitters on the support provided to this effect and will ensure that the control system is strictly applied.
4. The pre-flight tests and checks requiring prolonged use of a frequency are allowed with the permission of the users of the same frequency.
5. The full throttle pre-flight test must be performed on the table for this purpose.
6. It is forbidden bring an aircraft into the pits area, with the engine running. Once landed, taxi to the service area and stop engine nose pointing away from the pit.
7. It is forbidden to taxi in the pits.
8. All members should start their planes in the space provided for this purpose.
9. Tell our intentions when taking off, landing, or maneuvering low over the runway and especially to go on the track. It is the pilot's responsibility to ensure he has been heard.
10. All pilots must fly in the same direction as the starting circuit i.e. against the wind at take off. For other maneuvers, get out of the circuit and return later.
11. In the case of high turnout, the first 15 minutes of each hour is reserved for helicopters.
If there are no helicopters, Planes doing 3D maneuvers will be allowed in the helicopter time period.
12. It is forbidden:
• Flying an aircraft over the pit area, spectators and parking.
• Flying an aircraft before 9.30am except electric models 400 watts or less.
• To fly or to land an airplane of more than 40 inches wingspan or an helicopters over 12 inches, between the runway and the pilots stalls.
It is forbidden for a beginner to:
• Fly an aircraft alone and without being accompanied by an instructor.
• Fly a new aircraft or an aircraft repaired without having been checked by an instructor.
• To go on the track for takeoff except, during a first flight of an aircraft and accompanied by one aide to trim the aircraft.
13. During the training days, students have priority over other pilots, except the first 15 minutes of each hour.
14. Intensive and repetitive flying is strictly prohibited, the purpose of the club is based on the practice of recreational flying.
15. During the starting procedure of a kerosene turbine, it is mandatory to have at hand, a fire extinguisher in good working order.
It is forbidden to have more then a single assistant around the aircraft.
16. All takeoffs and landings are on the runway designated to this effect. Takeoff in the service area are forbidden.
17. Safety in flight and litigation:
• Aircraft in distress have priority over others. (Deadstick, Motor stalled)
• If two or more aircraft are involved in a collision, the pilots concerned are responsible for their respective damages.
• Everyone is responsible for the damage it may cause by negligent use of a radio transmitter. In this case, the offending member shall have the duty to
compensate the aggrieved member within a reasonable time.
In case of conflict in the settlement of claims, the decision of the Executives shall be final and without appeal.
18. Notify visitors safe places. It is prohibited for any visitor to go beyond the line of the service area unless accompanied by a club member.
Children are strictly forbidden in the service area. They must be in the Visitors section at all times.
19. As stipulated by the MAAC, it is forbidden to fly a model under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Furthermore, no liquor or alcohol will be
allowed on the site.
